That’s (Not) Mine, written by Anna Kang, is another super great book for siblings. Just like in Anna’s book You Are (Not) Small, these two fuzzy, bearlike critters are arguing. This time over a chair. The big one is sitting in it when the little one says it’s his because he was in it earlier. Sound familiar? It’s one I’ve witnessed time and again, but it’s never solved as easily as it is in the book. After wasting a significant amount of time and energy, they both apologize and decide they would rather go play than fight over a chair. It’s a silly and entertaining book that can easily be used to talk about sharing and taking turns. Plus, the cute creatures illustrated by Christopher Weyant are so much fun!
