Tyrannosaurus Rex VS. Edna The Very First Chicken is a silly, fun, and entertaining book! This comical story, written by Douglas Rees and perfectly illustrated by Jed Henry, is about a hungry T. Rex looking for breakfast. All the other dinosaurs run away, but Edna the chicken won’t be bullied. Even when the T. Rex scoops Edna up in one bite, her bravery doesn’t falter. You’ll have to read the book to find out how a little chicken is able to stand up to the fierce T. Rex, but I will say it is done in humorous style! You don’t have to be a dinosaur fan to enjoy this book. It might turn you into a chicken fan though!
