My Heart by Corinna Luyken is a beautiful book. I think I enjoyed it more than my kids because I found it really moving and relatable. The illustrations were beautiful and the choice of color (or lack of it) really added to the message and feel of the story. It shows how the heart can feel many things, changing and growing in different way as it experiences different things throughout our lives. It’s a really well done book that reflects the complexity our hearts.
